In this project we will simulate a 16×2 LCD display with a 4×4 keypad. The library that we installed with the simulator is available in the Arduino IDE. By adding the ‘#include #include <KeypadSim.h>’ and the ‘#include <LiquidCrystal_I2C_Sim.h>’ code we will include the library for the simulator to it. The I2C library will use the A4 and A5 pins for communication to the LCD display. The library will communicate with the Arduino Simulator thought the serial USB port.
Select the used inputs and outputs on the simulator, in this case we use only the LCD display with I2C pins A4 and A5 and the keypad is connected to digital pins 2-9. Connect the Arduino with the COM port in the simulator and start simulating.
