In this project we will simulate a DHT11 sensor with an LCD display. The library that we installed with the simulator is available in the Arduino IDE. By adding the ‘#include <DHT11_Sim>’ and the ‘#include <LiquidCrystalSim.h>’ code we will include the library for the simulator to it. The library will communicate with the Arduino Simulator thought the serial USB port.
Select the used inputs and outputs on the simulator, in this case we will use the DHT11 sensor on digital pin 7 and an LCD display on digital pins 12, 11, 5, 4, 3 and 2. Drag the parts into the workspace and connect the Arduino with the COM port in the simulator.
