Simulation – Steppermotor control

In this project we will control a stepper motor with 2 coil windings. A stepper motor with 2 coils can only turn forward. More information about the stepper motor can be found here. This example can be found by the examples provided in the simulator. The steps are shown in the video above.

Select IO

Drag the stepper motor in the work space and connect the Arduino board first. Select the 2 coil windings and drag a button on digital pin 1 in the work space. If you enter a value for the number of steps, press enter to send the data. The stepper motor will turn the motor the amount of steps further when you click on the button.

You can restore saved setups by going under File and choose for ‘Restore settings’. Select the setup file and all the saved settings will be restored.
